Joseph McCoy

Joseph McCoy was born in Archibald, Louisiana on May 12, 1947 to the parents of Clifton McCoy and Nancy Nash-McCoy. Jospeh had 11 siblings. 

He departed this life on March 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by both parents, and siblings: Clifton McCoy, Beatrice McCoy, Mary McCoy, Nathaniel McCoy, Willie Kendricks, Burl Kendricks, Ernestine Kendricks, and Cloteen Kendricks.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Althia McCoy; his one and only cherished daughter, Angela “Peaches” McCoy (Stephen); granddaughter, Mareena (Big Baby); siblings, Eunice McCoy of Bastrop, LA, Bertha McCoy of Mesquite, TX, and Elbert McCoy (Betty) of Lancaster, TX. A host of nieces and nephews, and special family friends; Ruby Gray, The Williams Family, Cassandra S., and Lorene B.
