Joshua Holt

Joshua Andrew Holt was born on June 26, 1995 to Gerald and Vanessa Holt in Dallas, Texas. Joshua attend school in the Dallas Independent School District. He graduated from Kathlyn Gilliam Collegiate Academy in 2013. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Technology from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017.

Joshua was a faithful member of Alta Mesa Park Baptist Church. He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age. Joshua was a part of the youth ministry, choir, ushers, Boyz 2 Men Mimes, and media ministry. As a youth he was very active with the Fellowship District Association Congress.

Joshua briefly worked for Desoto Independent School District. He was also a home health caretaker for Glorious and Intouch Home Healthcare Services.

He departed this life on Tuesday January 31, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Gerald and Vanessa Holt; his grandmother, Ruby Holt; his four uncles, Carl (Susie) McGown, Sylvester (Ruth) McGown, Timothy Holt, and Mitchell King.; his three aunts, Gladys Holt, Olethia Holt, and Ora Holt; Godparents, Dr. Harvey L. Hollmon & Johnnie Hollmon; special friends, Christopher Williams, Kaleb Dabney, Andrew Dabney, James Horton, Daylon McClendon, Rickye Scott, Chelsyea Jackson, and Jahmal Binder, along with a host of cousins and others who loved him dearly.
