Marilyn Dixon was preceded in death by her father, James Evans Sr.; her mother, Ira Evans; brother, Anthony Evans; and sister, Elaine Evans.

She has left behind her daughters, LaToya Jones, Diante’ McCollister (Trant), and Devon Evans (James); her bonus daughter, Nicole Evans; her grandkids, Aisja, Brooklyn, Kynedie, Wynter, Daillon, Trinity, and Ace; brothers, James Phillip Austin (Salome), James Melvin Evans Jr., and Melvin Evans (Rachel); sisters, Gwen James, Sandra Boggs (Ralph), and Keisha Evans and host of other relatives and friends.
